For the cute little girl who asked me to shut of my engine in the drive thru the other night… what are you fighting for?

6 days ago my old car broke down on the Bedford Highway at 4:30 a.m. Trying to push it onto the curb before rush hour by myself should have prompted anyone living by christianity’s creeds to lend a hand; but from the 35 of you that drove by, all I got were horns and birds for being in your lane. Who cares right? Buy a new car looser.

So I did that 3 days ago, although I could hardly afford the expense, and today someone smashes it in the golf course parking lot without leaving so much as a trace of themselves, only the thousand dollar repair bill. So don’t ask me to inconvenience myself anymore for the environment and the sake of our so called humanity, for it’s already dead, and I am hereby disbanding from your self-righteous crusade. —FoulFox

  1. So you gotta take it out on the cute little girl? Jesus, she just wants to have air to breathe when she grows up. Yeah, your problems suck, but that’s just insensitive.

  2. Good for you OP.
Get yourself some used tires saved up, & when withers here go out on a lake, in your backyard, out to the camp where ever you want & set those bad boy’s on fire.
Gives off one hell of a lot of BTU’s throws flames a dozen feet in the air…the smoke forget about it…its going away.

PS- if you really want it to go over well, wait until after xmas, pick up a dozen+ christmas trees & put those in the pile with the tires… on a frozen lake !
You’ll have half frozen skaters over for a visit before you know it. Not one of them will be complaining…they’ll all be there for the heat !

  3. Screw turning off your car. You have the right to leave it running. If that granola chick doesn’t like it, tell her to sit back by the exhaust pipe and protest.

  4. She was probably driven to school, dance, ringette etc in a Dodge Caravan which had one of those anti drive thru stickers.
    hugggers + Hypocrites

  5. I turn my car off when I realize its going to be a long wait at the drive thru just to save me gas and money. Although selfish dickwads like seb are too dumb to even understand the saving money part and just leave it on becuase its “your right”

  6. Saving money and gas are at the shallow end of the idleless vehicle option. Needlessly contributing to the planet killing emissions should have us all thinking about how we do things. Some of the city’s traffic lights are notoriously slow, also a good place to turn off the ignition. If we were able to eradicate all fossil fuel emissions today the benefits to the planet would be instant and Stephen Hawking could stop looking for alternative planets for the human species to migrate to before we exterminate ourselves. In the words of the recently returned Dorothy ‘there’s no place like home!’
