I bought my tickets a few weeks ago from a ticket outlet for this show that was supposed to be held last night. Due to weather the performers had to cancel. However, the promoters never announced it was cancelled and have yet to announce any refunds. When I tried to get a refund the response was “the promoters haven’t decided if they want to give refunds or reschedule the show.” I finally pleaded and received my refund, though I’m sure many others have yet to receive their refunds. yeah o.p., it sucks to get all fired up to see something, then have it not happen. it would piss me off too, and you have a right, by law, to a full refund, no matter what. there a only a few times when said refund may not be given. if show took place, but had to stop over half way. or if it was expressly stated on tickets that no refund, but a re scheduling would happen. those are the most popular.
and speaking of shows, there won’t be any hockey superhero slideshow this week or any other. fuck them, and their little dog too.
What weather? It’s winter…a few flurries here and there are to be expected this time of year. No doubt they will reschedule for Wed when we get that 20-30 cm of snow.
Possibly weather from where the performers were flying in from? I heard about someone who doesn’t speak Americano was supposed to come here last Thursday but didn’t show so they made it a free show….maybe this is a difference incident entirely.
Awww, LS, I was actually looking forward to it! Dang.
