first, we were co-workers. second, we were friends. third, we were roommates. and finally, i’ve had enough.
i can admit that i was taken advantage of. a year and a half ago when we signed that lease (your first place at 21 yrs of age), you were harmless. you were a decent guy and followed through as a decent friend. you fooled a lot of people.
you may be a brainiac, but you’re far from wise. you have a lot to learn about people. you’re a self-deluded prick and you will suffer in a life without true friends because you’re too scared to reach beyond yourself.
i should never have been so stupid as to let you carry on like you did in such close quarters. you took advantage of my kindness. when people are nice to you, it’s not a right, fuckstick. it’s not something you own.
in a way, i’m glad. the lease is up, as is our friendship. you bloomed and your true colours put a real asshole on display. but, i’m not the only one you fucked with. your actions will forever speak louder than your words.
