Special thanks goes out to the bus driver on the #18 for putting my life and hundreds of other lives in danger tonight when he decided to pick up passengers just after smoking a joint in the bus. I really appreciate his thoughtfulness. I wonder if he rolled the joint with a transfer….

Please say you reported this (and mean it).
Did you see him smoking the joint?? Smell it?? How do you know?? I’m confused….
Over re-acting I am sure of it. Smoking a Joint on the Bus. I think the OP must have been sniffing something and hallucinated. I can not imagine the bus driver being that retarded.Oh and by the way, smoking a joint and driving does not necessarily put people lives in danger, you drama queen.
so you’re saying he hot boxed the bus???hahahah
I can just imagine driving a bus after a j, I’d be sooo paranoid…”Did that guy put in the right change? YEAH! He did… Is that a spill proof mug? Ok, it is. Is that person trying to get on the bus? They are? Better get the hell out of here… Is that car going to brake? Snap… can I squeeze through those cars? Only if I hit the curb. Is that my supevisor in that car? What do I do? Is that seeing eye dog smiling at me??? Because if he is….” Paranoid!
Bus drivers get away with everything.
Bus drivers get away with everything.
First off to Scott, driving while stoned is still driving intoxicated and seeing as a bus driver has the responsibility of ensuring the safety of his/her passengers, it is unacceptable. Secondly, my wife is a bus driver and knows of drivers who smoke up during shifts. And lastly, Metro Transit is probably instituting drug tests soon.
Your points are good and for a Bus Driver to be smoking during operating hours is unacceptable. But not everyone stoned is putting lives at danger and I very much doubt that this driver put anybodies live in danger. There stupid drivers that put people lives in danger. I’d worry more about them than someone smoking pot. I am glad to see some of the stupid starting to get charged for causing collisions.
Wrong once again Scott… You are talking about things that you do not understand… You call others stupid but YOU are the stupid one…You appear to be suggesting that smoking dope while driving a metro transit bus is somehow an acceptable practise…?? Are you kidding me.?? Of course it is probably less dangerous than driving a bus drunk… But that after that you are an idiot… If this is NOT Ginger posting as Scott, I don’t know what is..!!! Scott.. Ginger… Whatever you call yourself… You Fucking Troll…
Welcome to the wonderful world of Metro Transit, where we don’t care because we don’t have to. But we’re all proud to be union men!
I love the smell of weed & ginger in the morning… mmm…
