You trusted someone involved in an accident to give you a correct phone number and you didn’t take their drivers license number or plate number? Sorry, but that’s just dumb.
Wow…how much is it going to cost to replace the black of your car? Man…my car is all black, it would suck having to replace all of it…

Had a guy back into my car and smash my bumper. Good thing I recorded all his info….insurance, name, phone number, etc…..he still gave me the run around but when I gave him an ultimatum of a) pay cash in full for all repairs, or b) I call his insurance company with the names of witnesses…..low and behold, he PAID IN FULL!
When someone runs into the black of your car, call for blackup.

I’m wondering if the OP’s incident occured when she wasn’t in/around her vehicle. Perhaps someone told her about the other vehicle and the other driver simply left a note (albeit with a wrong number) as a courtesy.

Why do you feel the need to point out the colour of the vehicles? That information is completely irrelevant to the incident and should only be included in the police report you racist!
