To the douchbag that jumped me at 4 am in the pouring rain. Thanks for fucking up my face. It was awesome to explain to every person I met the past week that I am not, in fact, in an abusive relationship nor am I a professional boxer. Hope you got that sick satisfaction of attacking girls out of your system. And whoever that guy was that saved me (I call you Batman because I never saw your face or got to thank you) by chasing the mouth-breather down the street, I hope you’re down with castration. It’s hard to attack girls as a eunuch.

to clarify, i was merely attempting to point out that these kind of unprovoked attacks are NOT isolated incidents, they happen with some regularity in HRM, as their namesake, ‘swarmings’ attest to. technically speaking, this may not have been a swarming, but it was still a cowardly act of unprovoked violence against an innocent person, and that’s why some (if not many) haligonians choose to stay home, off the streets, at night.my apologies to the OP, i didn’t mean to be insensitive, i’m relieved to hear that you’re OK.to sarah, you’re right, even though there’s no shortage of violent douchebags roaming HRM streets at night, it’s comforting to know that we can still count on the decency and kindness of strangers, at least, when it matters most
What is wrong with this world??? Jeez.
welcome to halifax, where senseless violence, swarmings and unprovoked attacks are the NORM
Glad your ok and hope people like your Batman are always close at hand.Welcome to Halifax, where complete strangers will give you a helping hand!
If you’re walking around this burg at 4 a.m., you’re asking for trouble, girlfriend.
Apparently taking a cab isn’t safe either…
