Love how the city comes by and widens the street at midnight. After the warm day yesterday, the snow became saturated with water, overnight the temperature plunges. The people wake up and head out to start their day and find two feet of SOLID ice chunks and the tires of their cars frozen in to centre rim. Being handicapped and relying on others to get out doesn’t help much either. All up one side of the street neighbours are turning the air blue this morning. No common sense at all. They widened the street an inch or two and left it all in our driveways. Great way to start the day. —Crabby on Cranberry

  1. Your crabby because you live on Cranberry Crescent on Carson St.,a public housing complex with a reputation so bad the city changed the name to Greystone Drive.

  2. Do you want the city to plow or not? Or do expect them to plow everyone’s driveway? They could do that but it would cost a lot more and everyone would complain about how high the taxes are.

  3. This, my friends, is a prime example of why it would suck to be a politician. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

  4. MO COMMON SENSE

    “No common sense at all.”

An excellent bitch. Why doesn’t the city realize that, in spite of warm temperatures during the day, the overnight temperature would plunge? Have they no common sense?

    A pleasure as always,

    Cheerio!
