On Tuesday around 9:15am I was sideswiped by a white SUV while riding my bicycle at the intersection of North and Robie. Although the SUV driver sped off, many drivers stopped to see if I was okay, gave me the licence number of the SUV, and one driver even went off after the SUV. I just wanted to say thanks to all those people, and also to ask anyone who saw the accident PLEASE to report it to the police… Without an independent witness report there is little they can do, and it would be great if my resulting physio could be covered by the driver’s insurance. —A Grateful Cyclist

Holyshit op. I was almost run over by a white SUV a week or two ago. I was crossing the street and he decided to make a right on a red light and almost killed me.
I got his licence plate number. I was hesitant to call the cops because, you know, maybe he missed me.
Gonna do it now. Looks like we might have a psycho on our hands…
