  1. I hate to be a debbie downer, but you’re best to cancel all your credit cards and get new debit cards. A typical scam is for people to return wallets untouched so you think they’re decent and you have nothing to worry about.

    … and six months later they clean out your accounts and run up your credit cards.

  2. I agree with PK. Better to be safe than sorry, and I hope that your social security card wasn’t in your wallet. you may want to check your credit score regularly to be extra safe.
