I still think about you all the time. I know I said we weren’t ready to “go to the next level,” but I often wonder if I made a huge mistake. You were so damn good to me, we had so much in common, and the sex was the best I’ve ever had—not just hot, but really NICE: loving, intimate, warm. Does it make me a pig if I say that’s what I miss the most? We weren’t just banging; we were making love, and it nurtured my soul. But I still don’t think I’m cut out to be your FT boyfriend. If there was some way we could have it both ways (FWB) it would be great, but you deserve more than that. I just wanted you to know that I still miss you, and the times we had together. You are a wonderful girl and if you haven’t found what you’re looking for yet, I hope you do, because you deserve it. —JJ Walker

  1. you are already past the fwb stage OP. It sounds like you love this girl but are afraid of commitment. If you can’t give someone all of yourself let them go. You did the right thing. No one deserves to only be loved halfway.

  2. Even jaywalkers need love. Next time you’re together, put on “Lady in Red” she’ll be putty in your hands.
