Amen to that. Also close to this topic, I had a pedestrian walk out on to Kempt Rd. this morning with his head down while texting. We can only hope natural selection removes these people from our gene pool.
I agree with PK. If she hit the bus with her car, chances are the bus would hardly feel a thing anyway. She only would have hurt herself…justice served.

I think the point we are missing is SCHOOL + BUS = KIDS. If it was a semi it would eat the car yes, but a bus full of kids may still result in hurt kids.
I was walking out of MMM today and this girl almost walked into 4 different people while texting. Too bad all saw her coming and avoided her; maybe having her phone crack open into 4000 pieces would be a lesson.

I agree. ANYONE caught texting/talking on their cell phones should have their phones seized. Hell, the cops should just take it and stomp the fuck out of it. Yesterday a tractor trailer driver was talking on his phone or radio and crossing over the center line of the MacKay bridge….obviously not paying attention.

Supposedly texting while driving makes you more impaired than drinking and driving. Back when I lived in England there was a huge crackdown on it, you have to pull over and take the key out of the ignition to use a cellphone there.
APOM, even though I have a blue-tooth, I pull over about half the time, because the converstaion takes takes most of my attention. Be safe, drive safe.

Morning ralmn, been getting things straightened out. I don’t move till March, but it’s a done deal. The 23rd is my last day at work (now a co-worker knows who I am), think I’ll take a break from working till next fall 🙂
