Why are we, as taxpayers, forced to provide a roof over the head of criminals and their families? If someone is convicted of a crime and lives in subsidized housing, I think they and their whole family should be thrown out onto the street. I really don’t care where you live, the milk of human kindness is curdled here. — V. Putin.

You must admit, it makes it a lot easier for the Old Bill to find the villains, since the local Bantu aren’t about to co-operate.
That would solve what OB? That’d be like shutting down LTWWB because you made a stupid short sighted post.
I agree. In the US they have the One Strike Rule which would put families of those convicted of a crime out of public housing. The baby momma’s and Granny’s would surely co-operate with the authorities if we had such a wonderful system.
One strike you’re out is a policy adhered to by public housing officials in the United States which requires tenants living in housing projects or otherwise receiving housing assistance from the federal government to be evicted if they, or any guest or visitor under their more-or-less direct control, engage in certain types of criminal activity on or, in some cases, even off the premises of said housing. This term is used because no second chance is given to many of the offending tenants.
I endorse this message with arms wide open. I have issues with the welfare system as a whole, but this would be an excellent start to ending our entitled hand-out society.
On that note, do most of you regulars on here even work? I apologize in advance if that comes off as rude but I just notice that some of you practically live on here.
Don’t tell me that we inherited Mr. A. Chowderhead to bilk off the welfare system…what next? Couldn’t that Great nation keep him under wraps, no disrespect Baz.
Unrelated…..At my favourite Timmies doing the Barynya missing my dance partner… Oh those Russians. Lol.

Although I won’t or can’t speak for other bitchers on here, but in my case, I work at two jobs but still have time to live on here a time or two. Many on here work and they work hard so don’t come across that we are nothing but lazy bums, won’t bode well to be welcomed into the fold.
Never heard the expression that one can play while they work?
No Klyde. Andy hasn’t made it across the Atlantic yet. I did read somewhere that he has been banned from entering France. So much for his new career rooting up truffles in the Perigord.
Personally, I’d send him back to Pakistan, preferably stuffed in the nose cone of a Trident missile launched from on of the Vanguard class of nuclear submarines.
I’m sure the “One Strike Rule” is very effective in reducing recidivism. It’s probably not very enforceable either.
SirMeow, six months following the creation of the policy 3,847 people were evicted from various housing projects across the country. GOOGLE THIS SHIT!
does that plan reduce crime? or does it just make us feel good because the criminals’ families get the boot? ( this is not a snide insult – i am pretty vindictive myself but my ‘final solution’ for useless two-leggeds is not popular)
if 3,847 people got kicked out, that just let 3,847 other people in to our tax funded places. some may be associated with criminals and some may not. is there any indication that having this rule makes people in public housing more law abiding? does it somehow transform some asshole into a caring dad who mends his wicked ways because he is worried his kids will be homeless? will it pull the needle from some crackie-momma’s arm?
how does it WORK besides just shuffling poor people onto the street?
Woo hoo!
More panhandlers…
Good call.

That’s great if homeless criminals is your objective. Where do you think these folks go? My guess is that they sleep on the couches of their relatives, in subsidized housing.
So what, no one can answer me?
i thought you had on your rhetorical hat ryan.
and ummmmmm do we get a demerit if we don’t snap to and answer?
I have a better idea, since we already lose many of our talented and law abiding citizens to Alberta, lets deport some of our criminals to Alberta. A one way bus ticket instead of rent money.
What makes you think Alberta wants them?
In hindsight, I suppose that instead of 12 years of sending our Best and Brightest to Diarrheastan, we should have been sending our maladjusted criminal filth, instead.
Let them cry about racism, disenfranchisement, marginalization, lack of opportunity, culture of violence, etc, while Terry the Taliban is sawing at their neck tendons like some tattooed donair.
…and to clarify, I’m in no way suggesting that we put our criminal class in the military. Just kick them off the ramp of a Herc in Khost or Now-I-Zad and let ’em get rich or die tryin’.
Alberta sucks ’cause Biscuit says so!
