So this I hear thru the grapevine today. Seems buddy is having a problem getting a car licensed as a limo. There are certain makes and models accepted. Once a model is accepted more can be licensed.Example a lincoln towncar has many different models, executive, cartier presidential etc. They are all the same vehicle just different interiors. Now they have licensed a toyota avalon MISTAKE, they have licensed a kia genesis MISTAKE, they have licensed a MKZ MISTAKE, these are not full size luxury sedans they are MID SIZE they broke their own licensing rules. Now chrysler has a 2nd generation 300 which is classed as a luxury full size sedan equivalent to the lincoln MKS. They will license a 300 touring, 300 s and a 300 c. All the 300’s are the same car just different interiors, all luxury. They won’t license a base 300. WHY? A 300 s is just a 300 with a v-8 compared to the 300 v-6. A 300 touring is acceptable but the 300 ultimate is not…fellas its the same frigging car just like the towncars. Who is running the show over at the dartmouth office? Every person over there has a different opinion. You have guidelines to follow, how about using some common friggin sense. Do some research, keep up with the times. It’s time council cleaned house over in dartmouth and started holding some of these guys responsible. —cloggeddrip

Test drove a 300 with the Hemi V-8… it was pretty.
Unfortunately being rear wheel drive, it’s also pretty useless half the time in the cold, slippery winter months.
I still cringe when I see one with the taxi light on the roof…
They are all the same vehicle just different interiors. Duh, different interiors does not make them the same. See, the word different is used in your sentence as well as mine. Different means they are not the same. See, different is mentioned in every sentence of this response.

You have just answered your own question.
And we care why? Luxury my ass. If I call for a limo, it better be a stretched limo, preferably a superlong SUV style with sunroof to let my weave blow in da breeze. I don’t wanna ride in no brokeback buick (old man’s car) or shitty toyota. Deuces mafucka.
Gary?
Different interiors as in white stitching instead of black, some have built in navigation, all have luxury leather, the differences between the models don’t make one more nicer than the other. You couldnt tell them apart if you didnt know. Sorry to hear some people dont know how to drive a rear wheeled vehicle in the winter. Yup you wants a stretched sedan or suv to take you to the airport? Cough up the 95.00 – 120.00 and its all yours.
Every stretch limo has it’s destination….

The limos I use in Europe (luxury vehicles) are small/mid-size BMWs. they use them for fuel efficiency reasons, not size. Mind you, I’m hung like a camel so…
cloggeddrip… hint hint hint, it’s WAY more than ‘Some’.
People can’t drive for shit here once it hits -2 and the fucking massive hills certainly don’t help. Did you see how many accidents we had in that last heavy rain storm?
Easily triple that once the shit gets to freezing.
