A certain Halifax hospital has a really nice garden maintained by volunteers which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the outdoors, except for all the cigarette butts that careless smokers drop all over the place. Could you smokers have a little consideration for other people. Puhleezzz?? —Babette

as long as you are allowed to smoke there, you will have that problem.
Smokers don’t give a fuck. Collect them up and stuff them into the lockers of hospital staff who smoke.
Why are so many smokers litterbugs? Where I work, we have a can to toss your cigarette butts in but half of them miss and don’t bother to pick them or they throw them into the bark mulch around the bushes starting some smoulder.
I realize these butts are small and on fire but step on them, pick them up and put them in the can.
