To the dude who plays the ukulele at the Farmer’s Market,
You are adorable and your song choices are the best. I get a big dumb smile on my face each time I walk by you. Listening to your giant voice and sweet strummings is the highlight of my Saturday.
Thanks for being you.
ps. I really loved the addition of the lovely young lady on vocals today – kudos to her as well.

At least this sounds better than yet another indie folk artist on the acoustic, with a harmonica… ohh Jesus not again! And I swear to GOD, if I have to hear yet another Jewel-esque wannabe NSCADer with dreads dressed in 15 scarves and other crap from the Black Market singing her own form of spoken word indie-folk or what the fuck ever it is again, I’m going to fucking scream… maybe not too loudly, and maybe not even at all, but I will feel like screaming something. Sure, you’ll probably get a feature in The Coast some day and some airplay on CKDU, but the rest of us are starting to get a little bored of this.
You may tell me that if I don’t like it then I don’t have to listen to it, but living in Halifax, you can’t get away from it!
No shit, eh? Those people take the market experience from an 8/10 to a 6/10 experience. Get in and get out, thats my motto.
Man, I think the best was when the Bee Girls were asked to stop ‘playing’ because it was scaring the kids and old people.
