Here’s hoping the HRP gets it together and maybe watches the one block in the city where 5-20 kids swarm people and beat them up every other night. Maybe you could conduct some sort of investigation or stakeout, instead of “Durrrrrr geez we are not sure if they are related lol”?

What does it matter though, since the Canadian Young Offenders Laws clearly state that these kids will get a tap on the wrist and then sent right back out to the streets to do whatever the fuck they want? —Take back the night

  1. Or, the brave souls on this site can do what they actually mouth about and get out there and kick some ass vigilante style. Doubt it…

  2. i still say it’s time to get the brazilian death squads in here, and anyone out after a certain hour, bang, a bullit to the head.also works in bogota, and hondueras. these little fucking pieces of trash only understand one thing, mob mentality. so if some mob of others came upon them, they would turn tail and run home crying to mommy.time to arm yourselves people, the cops can’t do fuck all, because of this yja bullshit, but you can, beat the little fuckers senseless or to death, or gun them down where they stand. oh where is the batman when you need him. or for that matter, those red coated angels that were so brave to start here, then just fucking disappear. if the cops want zero crime, then have zero court appearences, kill the little fucks, and let their rotting corpes be a reminder not to fuck with them again. bring up some of the u.s. cops, they will show you all how to bust heads. fuck this city is full of cowards.

  3. What? You mean the cops should leave their posts outside the entrances to clubs where they have the pleasure of skanks hanging off of them (and the potential to cop a few feels) to actually protect and serve?? Besides, then they would be late for their coffee and donuts… (horrible cliche but it makes me giggle…)

Anyway- they are FAR too busy not watching out for people driving while texting and catching people driving 625 meters/hour over the speed limit to worry about preventing some poor innocent citizens from getting their skulls bashed in by the scum of the earth….

And BRoc… sure we talk… we talk real good. Everyone is a superstar on this site, haven’t you realized that yet? We have done everything from cleaning up the harbor to running a top-notch, problem free transit system! Everything from catching and punishing swarmers to reducing wait times in the ER by 10,000% We are the true heroes of this municipality and you better darn well recognize that.

  4. Why don’t they just get some cop to go “under cover” or something and walk around the north end at night alone…or maybe I watch too much TV.

  5. The youth criminal justice act is NOT a law enforcement tool. It is a tool used by young criminals to remain anonymous and commit more crimes.

“Or, the brave souls on this site can do what they actually mouth about and get out there and kick some ass vigilante style. Doubt it…”

Like I said before, I’m not trying to go look for trouble or be a vigilante. If some kids want to jump me I have nasty chemicals to spray in their eyes that will damage their eyesight for a long time, I’ve been known to bite people, grab groins, etc. when I have to. Plus, I actually have a JOB and important things to do, unlike these lazy uncivilized kids and their welfare parasite parents.

  6. What I would like to see is bait, a couple of innocent looking people out for a nice stroll, and once these fucken assholes are fully involved and committed to the beat-down, about a hundred people come out of the woodwork and smash the shit out of these little cowardly cocksuckers, all of ’em.

  7. Too bad self defence isn’t tolerated by the police and judges. You might hurt the feelings of the disadvantaged youf!

  8. I’m sick of hearing about vigilant justice, there’s nothing that can be done by citizens, unless someone is willing to get a crew together and go looking then what the fuck else can be done? all we can do is watch pigs sit on their asses.

  9. I hear ya, Basil. No words yet from the Mouthpieces-that-be. I maintain that they won’t do anything until it’s one of their own that gets the hiding.

Because they were mostly all black there is nothing the Mayor will say… There was more shit in the paper about that fuckin’ bridge than there was about these poor people being mobbed. C’mon all you mouthy assholes, don’t hear you crying to the media about this!!!!

  10. I admit… if we do things such as “smash the shit out of these little cowardly cocksuckers, all of ’em.” or any type of vigilante action we are not setting any type of an example of mature adults. I say: “RAPE ‘EM FIRST… then smash the shit out of these little cowardly cocksuckers, all of ’em and hang ’em up by their penises on the nearest power pole.”

Hope that made some of you smile but you ALL know that more violence is not going to be the solution. As soon as they’re gone the next set of cockroaches come out of their holes. Like most of you, this all makes me very angry and I would not be adverse to putting a hole in some fucking foreheads if I could get away with it. I would kill them out of anger for adding fear to my city but it won’t solve anything. I’d be wasting my time. Read what they once did in New York: “Law enforcement

In his first term as mayor, Giuliani, in conjunction with New York City Police Department Commissioner Bill Bratton, adopted an aggressive enforcement-deterrent strategy based on James Q. Wilson’s “Broken Windows” approach. This involved crackdowns on relatively minor offenses such as graffiti, turnstile jumping, cannabis possession, and aggressive “squeegeemen”, on the theory that this would send a message that order would be maintained. Giuliani and Bratton also instituted CompStat, a comparative statistical approach to mapping crime geographically and in terms of emerging criminal patterns, as well as charting officer performance by quantifying criminal apprehensions. Critics of the system assert that it creates an environment in which police officials are encouraged to underreport or otherwise manipulate crime data.[39] The CompStat initiative won the 1996 Innovations in Government Award from the Kennedy School of Government.[50″

Don’t know what effect that would have here but it may add money to our economy.

I need another coffee. Later peoples.

  11. I have seriously heard enough about this kind of shit and it disgusts me. I see disrespectful punks on a daily basis- on the bus, in shops, on the street and, to be honest, at times feel like just punching one when they walk by….. Obviously I won’t do that… but seriously! While they are ‘partly’ to blame for making choices, I am certain that their home life is nothing short of desperate. I see this one kid in Fairview on regular basis- likely about 12 years old or so… looks like a tween Eminem… long baggy shirts, baggy pants hanging off his arse… always has a smoke behind his ear. I have heard accounts that he has badmouthed people on the bus, usually women- even when they are traveling with young kids. While it would be immoral for me to teach him a lesson I feel he deserves, I can’t…. and he goes back to whatever broken down home he comes from. Words can’t describe how little I have faith in a lot of those in the generation behind me. Question is, what the hell do we do? These kids feel they can do, and get away with what they want. But alas… they are products of their environment.

  12. McNasty, great piece on NYC. I was just there in July and felt safer walking around Manhatten then Gottingen St. We should make Giuliani the mayor of HRM

  13. Yeah, has anyone even told ol’ Pete that this is even occurring? Maybe he should start reading the news instead of trying to be the subject of weird headlines in them.

  14. “This involved crackdowns on relatively minor offenses such as graffiti, turnstile jumping, cannabis possession”

What a stupid idea. We need to crack down on violent crime, not have surveillance on popular graffiti spots, or patting down random people for weed.

  15. well NY has Spiderman….
if we had our own resident web-slinger, we’d be a hell of a lot better off too….
