This is for all the guys who bitch and cry about how girls never give “nice guys”a chance. This is always followed by, “Stupid bitches.” I have heard so many guys say that they are the nicest guy you would ever want to meet, that they would treat a woman like a princess, but the evil women, they just ignore all this and go for the “badboys”.
Here’s a clue: I have never, ever heard a truly nice guy tell everyone he can that he’s a great guy. Even if they realize that they’re awesome, they let others decide this for themselves. The guys I hear bitching are the ones who, when they actually DO get a date, try to get into the girl’s panties by the end of the evening. Whatever they happen to pay for on the date, they will bring up at least every half hour, expecting the girl to gush her appreciation each time. The best is when they proceed to tell the girl what an amazing catch they are, and how lucky a girl would be to call him their boyfriend….
I’m just sick of hearing guys talk about this. They don’t even realize that everyone around them is rolling their eyes.

You just made me glad I’m not single either. I cannot believe in this day and age that men still want sexual pay back for taking a woman out on a date. Wouldn’t it be easier and less complicated to just hire a hooker? You’re right on the money, OP, nice guys don’t have to brag about how nice they are. Add my eyes to the others that are rolling upwards.
Good point. If you’re a catch, you don’t go around saying “I’ma a catch”. You let other people tell you.
I love this bitch. It’s so true. My boyfriend is actually one of those nicest guys ever, for real, and he would never write or say some sorry ass, self pitying bullshit like that. It’s because he actually “likes” women.
From a guy’s point of view, guys should never say stuff like that, well maybe that they’re mature, a nice, just to tell the other person a bit about themselves, but never to get into the girl’s panties. Generally people find out stuff like that on their own. It truly shows whether you’re a nice guy/girl.None the less, I have noticed a trend of girls (I wouldn’t call them ladies or women) that think they’re so empowered (no good career or anything going for them in life) and have the right to be stuck up, what’s with that? Generally nice guys tend to stay away from those, realizing that they’re all about popularity and money.
the one thing that sucks about being modest…… ….. is you cant tell anyone
I’ve known a lot of nice guys. Some of them I dated, and some I didn’t. Some of them were hot, some were ordinary, and some could most charitably be describes as “rugged”. But one thing they all had in common is that none of them ever told me how nice they were. Let me tell you a little known fact about nice guys. No matter what they look like, they are damn sexy. The trick is, they are usually not sexy right away. They only become sexy after you start to understand how nice they are. And that takes TIME. A guy who’s agenda is to get laid by the third date is not a “nice guy”. Hell, a guy who’s agenda is to get laid is not a nice guy.
Miranda I have to disagree with you. Unless the guy is spewing on about how much he hates breeders; the goal is to get laid eventually.
John, we all want to get laid. But I’m referring specifically to people (not neccissarily guys) who put getting laid ahead of getting to know someone. The best relationships I’ve had grew out of friendships that did not start out with a sexual agenda.
I’m with Miranda on this one…this all reminds me of that Nada Surf song, ‘Popular’This is the kind of behaviour I would expect from a college freshman at the start of the year, or high school children…My man is probably one of the nicest people in general i have ever laid eyes on so far in my life, and he never expected anything other than to share in the being nice and respectful in return…
