To a couple that manages an apartment building: lose the attitude towards your tenants. Stop rolling your eyes when we say hello or approach you with a maintenance or other concerns. Stop sighing, stop being cranky.

We understand it takes a lot of work to keep up a building along with raising kids and holding down an outside job but you folks took the position so try to remember who really pays your wages each month.

  1. How nice of The Coast to edit my letter to remove the location of this 10-story building (downtown Dartmouth) and mention that the company that owns it is named after a sea creature.

  2. The company name wasn’t in the original post Jane D’oh, a reference to the location and company was made but the name of the owners nor the actually building was never mentioned.

  3. Hey at least you have a super. My building doesn’t really have one, just a greasy guy who cleans the building and cuts the grass, but it’s actually the property owner we need to contact when something goes bad. Good luck with that, in fact I’m moving because of it.

  4. I’m pretty sure your bitch was edited because you made it too obvious who you were talking about and if you read the bitching rules, that’s a LTWWB no no.

I’m pretty sure the coast isn’t going to risk a lawsuit for libel because of some random on a msg board on their site. Might be true, what you’re saying, but they could still claim it’s libel and then the coast is out big bucks to defend itself. All because you were a bit too obvious in your bitch.

    Just sayin’ 😉

  5. Pretty Kitty – the rules posted on the site simply state:

“The primary rule of the bitch section is that you must not use any specific names or IDs—either in reference to yourself or to who you’re Bitching about.”

Not real sure that mentioning a building which also has retail and offices on the main floor on a major street actually breaks that rule. The name or exact civic adress was never sent in to the Coast.

But your reply was appreciated 🙂
