Heads up and arms down to all my fellow public transit travellers who are adverse to bathing. It is summer so, please feel free to go home have a bath(using unscented soap), then apply, liberally, some deoderant(unscented as well). We all get the scent free policy but that is no excuse for bad hygiene. No scents may be good sense but lets keep in mind that also applies to bad body odour. Try shoving a stick of deoderant in that crammed full backpack that is forever in my face on the bus. Oh and to the guy who sat next to me on the bus today who prompted this bitch if you aren’t going to bathe keep your arms at your sides, your pits were right at nose level and I thought I was going to pass out from the stench.

Right Arm Baby, you tell em! Brush the teeth too while your in there.
Sounds like a dirty hippie encounter. I hate that. Luckily, I’m up well before these stink-bags, and when I head home, they’re just getting out of bed.
I too hate the giant backpacks, at least when they’re attached to someone standing, if you can call it standing, it’s more like “weaving unsteadily under the weight of my giant torpedo shaped rock of a back pack” which is about to smack me in the face. The worst is when they don’t even apologize or seem to care.
Imagine what it’s like to be a driver on these buses in the summer. Long after the passengers have left, the smell lingers on and on and on.
This is just so annoying and a real pet peeve of mine – I don’t care how poor you are – you can afford a bar of soap and some roll on!!! Clean up people!!!!
Well, nothing you can do ‘cept tote around one of those mini-Febrezes.
Question: wtf do people put IN those fucking backpacks? They’re ALWAYS full. I mean, usually you get the large backpacks when you go by the universities and….wtf are these people carrying to class with them? I could fit all my shit into a small bag (including laptop), and I brought a decent amount of stuff with me so c’mon.
Well, I can imagine what it’s like to be a driver on those buses in the summertime. It’s sometimes stinky, so learning to not inhale through the nose is a valuable skill indeed. Luckily, the percentage of A/C equipped buses goes up every year.
PK, I sometimes keep a pair of shoes in mine.
