So i went to summersonic, simply to see the Black Keys, and was shock and appalled to see that not only did they play first (opening for wintersleep, basically) but there were at least 3 times the people crowding the stage for wintersleep as there were for the black keys… Man, you guys couldve seen wintersleep at the pavilion for like 5 bucks 2 years ago… but a good band finally comes to halifax and everyones asking me when wintersleep comes on… sickening.

Actually 2 other bands (Hey Rosetta! being one) played before the Black Keys. I had only heard of the Black Keys up until that day, never actually heard their music. But man, they blew me away! Totally trumped Wintersleep who I had originally gone to see and was very disappointed with their performance.I don’t know who you heard that from, Jammie because they were spectacular. I would gladly pay $40 just to see them play again.

The weakerthans made me want to cut myself.I went to see the black keys and loved them. They should have closed the night. I left after wintersleep when it started raining.
