why does Dal completely disregard the fact that plenty of students are there during the summer?
1) give us a bus pass
2) dont let tim hortons close
3) killam hours should be the same, we have exams too!
just an fyi…WE ARE PAYING THE SAME AMOUNT AS FALL/WINTER STUDENTS

You do have your life ahead of you. Go tanning. DAL is only about money. They provide less services but expect you to pay the same amount. You don’t have to finish everything all at once. take a breather once in a while. Plenty to do in the summer. Leave studying and boredom for the winter days.
I agree, summer courses bite it big time. Lousy library hours, no bus pass, same tuition… however at MSVU, we have Tim’s till 3.
I never understood summer courses. It’s funny speaking of school days, I keep thinking to myself that I want to go back and do something else. The more i research, the more i get turned off on the subject. It’s just ridiculously expensive for no reason. You can’t get a decent job when you’re done unless you leave the province. You’re always in debt. I have a $7000 student loan and since Dec 2006, I only paid 600 on it. about $800 went to interest!.. what the hell!!! Also Universities are such thieves here. I can’t believe they charge you the same about for a 3 week summer course, as you pay for a 4 month course in the winter or fall! Not to mention they make you pay the student fees that you shouldn’t be paying since they’re not offering you the services that come with those student fees. Our government does nothing but support those thieves. This province is built on theft and extortion.
