Did this happen to be close to the intersection at lacewood and dunbrack? I heard them the other night around the same time..and thought they were gunshots as well….they need to get a life.
Late night firecracker/ firework displays are a problem in my neighbourhood too. They should just outlaw that shit again and be done with it. The average person does not need to stage their own pyrotechnics display in their yard, ever for any reason. This problem did not exist before the restrictions on where these products can be purchased were relaxed a number of years ago. Kids can now buy what are essentially explosives in dollar stores and convenience stores. Nothing could possibly go wrong with that scenario right?
I need them for New Years and Chinese New Years parties. I’m an average person.

We live in the Dunbrack/Langbrae area too and heard them as well. It didn’t bother us though b/c we don’t sleep until at least 3:00am. My bitch is wtf is with the noise makers (and you know who you are) from 6 to 9 am??? Don’t you know there are people who actually work all night? Imagine if we started to make so-called “normal” daytime noise during our hours. Can’t have it both ways guys.
