To the kind office who gave me a warning ticket this evening! The reason my car was parked on the street was so that I could clear my driveway and safely park my car, and not have to shovel tons of heavy snow in the morning before heading to work. I understand that a snow plow had to go around my car, just like it did with the 2 CARS not even 5 houses down from me, but no you decided since I was out there shoveling to pick on me, well Mr officer go F yourself! Its 7:00 pm! no 1:00 am.

IF you were shoveling your drive way…why didn’t you go over & ask the cop what the hell he was up to ?
After all , you need your driveway clear so you can park there. having your car right by your driveway, he should have seen you shoveling, if that’s really what you were doing.
I was clearing my driveway last night at 7 so that the next morning I didn’t have to park my car on the road at 5AM, and to you Life Sucks serious what the fuck! did someone piss on your cornflakes? seriously dude, 7pm is NOT DURING the time you have to be off the streets. to More, I talked to the office and that is why he only gave me the warning tickets.

I would have loved to hear the judges reaction, when he found out you were doing something completely reasonable, & at 7 pm, you were nowhere near their arbitrary 1 am ticket frenzy…as I found out the last time I was ticketed for something almost as stupid as your run in. I fought it, & I won, the judge made a point to single out the ticketing officer as being out of line with fining me in the first place. 🙂

for Bro Tim, I would like you to come over and shovel for me next time it snows, I put my car on the street as I thought it was safe at 7PM!! I guess that I was wrong, next time I think that I shall park it in the middle of the street! As for the actual parking ban, It really isn’t a bother for me, I park in the driveway year round so its not really a pain for me to find parking.
I wonder if it’s the same cop who charged that guy last year for littering… you know? The guy who gathered all the garbage in the vacant lot next to him, bagged it and left it on the curb for pick-up? I think cops enter the force thinking they’re going onto the front lines to change the world for the better. Then they’re given authority with that badge which inflates their egos beyond human proportions… and the world goes to nit-pickin’ shit. Don’t put up with it, Haligonians. Ha I totally forgot about that guy. poor bastard. Kay it’s not usually the police that give out these tickets…it’s generally those Municipal Enforcement idiots, the ones that wish they had a badge but couldn’t pass the physical (or were just to scared to join the actual police force).
They are much worse though…talk about power trips (not all of them of course…I am sure there are a FEW reasonable ones, but most of them are plain douches).
Quit with complaining about the parking ban. You park on the street, you deserve a ticket. Just be happy I’m not the one ticketing you. I would be coming back EVERYDAY to ticket your car and then I would have it impounded! You’re welcome.
7PM!!!!! 7PM!!!! 7 FUCKING PM, I know snow plows have to plow but still! How do they expect people to shovel their driveways! seriously! its getting out of hand, the funny thing is, that same snow plow driver came around 4 more times before I went to bed! also I would rather a 7pm park on the street than the 5am I would have had to in order for me to clear my driveway before heading to work!
