They exist in every single classroom, anywhere. These are the students who sit in lecture or tutorial and always have something to say and DON’T SHUT UP. You’re always interrupting and more than half of what you say is wrong, irrelevant and stupid. You may think that you’re being intelligent and insightful, but everytime you raise your hand to speak, everyone around you cringes and sinks into their seats.
Stop trying to sound so goddamn intellectual all the time, you aren’t impressing anyone.
One more point; If you’re going to use big words, USE THEM IN THE PROPER CONTEXT.

If you know big words too, then why don’t you involve yourself more in a class than sitting there with a slack look on your face because someone is actually doing what they should in a class….interacting with the teacher and fellow students and asking questions…omg! Do you seriously think you will truly understand the material if all you do is listen to your teacher?!?!?!? Shake yourself out of that funk and truly learn not regurgitate!

These “showboaters” need to realize we don’t care wtf they have to say unless it pertains to the discussion on hand.

I do too, those people are so annoying. We had one in my program and often his oddball questions and comments to the professor (designed to challenge…and impress!!!) could keep us 15 minutes into lunch!
If they were “oddball” commentsquestions sure I give you that, but Jenn didn’t exactly describe it that way…more like she was pissed that HER time was wasted. Wasting Time; I seriously doubt I am a dimwit, far from it to be quite frank. I think your dimwit comment was uncalled for and unnecessary as the post wasn’t clear…just seemed to be bitching about question askers taking up class time.
