I was so happy to hear from you! I really missed you! But that all ended when I found out it was just because you needed a rebound. I should have known better this time. —Stupid Girl

facepalm.
This time? Yeah, you should have known better.

..and definitely you will know better next time. Right?
Sounds like that was at least the second time he pulled this on you. Remember, life ain’t baseball, so do not bother for ‘Strike 3’ to say ‘Yer OUT!’. Often good to give someone the benefit of the doubt at least for for a second chance but after that – nada. Good luck in future with a decent dude.
Yes. Yes you are.
Whatever. Girls keep rewarding douschbag assholes and their behavior by sleeping with them. Halifax is one big cesspool of immature and insecure women – perfect environment for the proliferation of douschbaggery.
Try spending time with real men instead.
Where are these “real men” you speak of Jhey?
I’ve met some immature and insecure men in Halifax.
Maybe just MAYBE every member of each gender has the capacity within them to be immature/insecure assholish douchebags sometimes.
“Real men” don’t eat quiche or play immature assholish douchebag games with women.
People need time and space after ending a relationship…to sort of find themselves again, to jump into another relationship is simply foolhardy and not fair for the other person
Maybe this’ll cheer you up:

There’s real men everywhere! I’m just sick of hearing from my female friends about the horrible guys they keep meeting, yet they keep returning to the same sterotype; bar hopping beard growing dudes (ok I have one too) too cool for school types that hang out in the “bar scene” knowing that these insecure women are easy targets. No shit! Although this might not be the case of the OP…
I say to these women; stop indulging them, and their behavior will change (eventually hopefully). And stop complaining – you’re part of the problem!
And yes, the reverse is also true…
