I know a lot of people who have had bad experiences with communication between themselves and the loans officials, so I sympathize with that. But, how are they standing in the way of you starting your career? Is it the money you borrowed and now have to pay back? You can negotiate a different repayment schedule with the banks if you need to, or consolidate your loan with another institution for a different repayment plan. Like the hairstylist from last weeks bitch, you may only need a short term fix while you go out and get established in whatever field you borrowed money to train to do. Or, rereading the post, it could be that they are just not giving you a loan. Is it because you make too much money at the call center? (I always love that line–“we can’t give you a loan because you don’t need it” Would I be here if i didn’t need it? And aren’t people with money in a better position to repay their loans? Maybe you should go to a bank directly, they like to lend people with money more money.
sick, are you trying to borrow money from student loan directly? you didn’t say. student loan works through the school, or colleges, etc as far as i can remember. they don’t lend you money.if you’re talking about starting a business, there is a federal agency that handles that, or as Miles mentioned the bank.both would require some kind of effort on your part. a portfolio, a written project, your goals, your research, etc. it’s not just walking in to say, “ah, lend me money.”it’s like any other business. if i want to lend you money. i want to be sure the chances of recouping my money+interest.another point too, (miles mentioned), what is standing in your way? if you’re working, are you saving anything? i know many years back, the federal agency wants a 50-50 commitment, ie. you put out some money too, so they know you’re serious. it’s been a while so forgive me if i am not updated on this. but i feel you should do a lot more homework . it’s a lot easier nowadays with the web. chin up.
Jeepers creepers. It’s always someone else’s fault , is it?this is not directed at you ( sick and tired), I can relate to your bitch. And the and Miles(from home) are giving lots of insight that you can probe. It’s not easy, but as long as you know what you’re up against, work to get that loan. Just don’t blame the world, like … (no name mentioned)Good Luck.
