I was so excited when you had your street style page way back in May. What happened? It’s not hard to snap a few pics of well dressed hiptsers downtown. Might take half an hour. Get on it.

There are only so many ways to sport ugly over-sized black rim glasses, unnaturally black straight bangs on pale chicks and painted on low-rise jeans on pasty skin stretched over an alien frame (Bubbles, TPD).
Here is how I imagine this article shaping up (names changed of course):
Willow here is sporting black rimmed oversized non-prescription glasses (Biss-Kitt Store, $89), Super Slim-fit low-risers (Canadian Apparel, $179) and a pair of Gukki 100% hemp made ballet-wannabe shoes (Random Fly-By-Night Shoe-Shop, $98). She is accessorizing with a bead necklace made by Chillean children (White Market, $29). When asked about her outfit she replies “I think fashion is wayyy over rated. People are just out to make money and thats not cool. Wy can’t we all just love each other and not have money… like it’s just leading to wars.”
ustwess, too true! Well said. Waaayyyyy too many artsy-fartsy NSCADers/Dal Arts students here in Halifax who still think those over-sized black rim glasses are cool and original.

Just look at whatever you looked at for the past five years and…surprise, it’s still in style! I’m still waiting for the gay little asymmetric haircuts guys have to die in flames.
