So a girl threw a penny into a car – while you’re walking. And you get angry about it? I don’t get it.
the way i read it, OP was strolling down the street minding her own business and some twerp threw a penny at her and hollered rudeness, then bravely bravely sped away.
That doesn’t sound like a random insult to me. Maybe you share the same love interest or something along those lines? Are you seeing a guy who may be not-so-single? Or maybe it was a case of mistaken identity?
do guys in cars still yell ‘fuck her buddy, we did!’ at couples walking arm in arm down the street? complete strangers. just for kicks. not much changes in some respects, over 40 years.

I misinterpreted this one too! Didn’t realize the OP just witnessed it. Sounds pretty brutal, but on the flip side, we don’t know what the person in the car did to warrant such an insult. Maybe he/she deserved what they got, you never know

No… I guess I should have been more clear and stated that the penny was thrown at ME (and not while I was walking from my job at the jigglyroom, dressed in my sleazy clothes, on my way to see my married boyfriend).
I LOVE how people here always try to blame the person that did nothing wrong (To clarify and avoid further confusion, “LOVE” is sarcastic).
It was totally random… either mistaken identity or someone that’s just angry at the entire world.
ok, that’s how i read it. some people have a lot of troll in their dna. youtube and any open forum gets littered with their spite, and sometimes, as long as they are safely in a moving vehicle, they’ll do it in person. i would have been hurt, bewildered and angry and a bit scared. random spite. absolutely nothing you did to provoke it, they just like to cause distress.
