This is the 3rd time in 4 months you have fucked up my pay. Especially with Christmas, how can big corporations get away with screwing over their hard workers? I am out $400 because of you bastards. So I now have to leave behind some of the gifts I was going to get my family.

Contact your payroll department. They can easily correct the mistake, assuming it’s a mistake.
Large corporations only cry loonies and toonies. What a bunch of incompetent gold garglers.
1. contact payroll to correct the mistake.
2. put gifts on VISA.
3. pay off visa with next pay including the corrected error.
Wow OB, you must be exceptional, running a huge corporation sinle handed. Before going off half cocked, did you check your time card/sheet to see if maybe you made a mistake or your writing was legible? Did you check your deductions? Because *gasp*, they do take off taxes, CPP, EI etc.
And as others have said check payroll to see if there is a problem.
Tell them you will contact the labour board if the problem isn’t fixed by monday. And if it isn’t, make sure you do. If they say the problem will be solved but that you must wait until after christmas, they should willingly provide you with cash to tie you over in the meantime if they are honest employers. They can’t do this to you.

Start with your accounting/payroll department. Also check, as someone else mentioned, your time card or sign in sheet make sure all your hours were logged. As someone who used to prepare payroll I had a rule if your time card was incomplete or I couldn’t read your writting in your time sheet you didn’t get paid – I’m not going to guess what you worked.
Before you go off the deep end try being proactive in resolving the issue instead of reactive.
I know if my employer messed up my pay they’d issue me a cheque asap. Probably faster to talk to payroll than to post anonymously on an online board in hopes you’ll get paid. Or even talk to your boss, maybe he/she will contact payroll for you.
remember if you wait and they add it to your next cheque, you will lose most of it in taxes anyway.
well my payroll dept is useless. When I told them I was a single person relying only on myself they said contact the cgovernment to see what benefits I can get. My payroll & HR are useless..

get it, your comment doesn’t make any sense. What does the government have to do with your paycheque? You tell payroll your short on your cheques and they tell you to go to the government. Nope, can’t see payroll making a statement like that at all.
