To the moron who kept honking at me as I tried to make a left turn on Spring Garden Road on Saturday evening: There was a line of traffic coming toward me. I certainly wasn’t going to drive into oncoming traffic to accommodate your rage. And I can’t pass through them like a fart on the wind. I’m not an impossibilist. Did you see me flipping you off as you pulled ONTO THE SIDEWALK to go around me? Probably not. You’re too stupid to even understand the basics of left turn physics.
Stop driving and book a seat on the short bus, idiot. Because the person you eventually kill won’t be yourself. That is unacceptable.

I don’t think it was more or less for you to make the turn.
I see this happen quite often. A lane is big enough to fit 2 cars or at an intersection for example, someone is turning left but hasn’t really advanced far enough (Not turned) but advanced when the light turned green to prepare to turn left, that they didn’t make room for the traffic to clear behind them. That person was probably going to be stuck at the light behind you since you didn’t make enough room for him to go around. Most people I noticed when making a left turn don’t make an effort to try and leave room for the cars behind to go around. Especially in high traffic areas. I always do but there are selfish morons out there that refuse to be courteous and make room for others. If you a person can’t it’s understandable. But if there’s enough room, why take up the entire lane and intersection to make a left turn and hold up traffic?!

Hey, I’m all for pulling out into the intersection to away to turn… but to claim it’s so people can go around you? I don’t think that’s legal…. and I HATE it when people in fairview mount curbs to get around the left-turn-waiter in the single lane. There aren’t even sidewalks on both sides and you shouldn’t be in that much of a rush you can’t wait what usually amounts to 20 odd seconds.
