We have a sticker on the outisde of our mailbox from the Ecology Action Center…it says NO FLYERS PLEASE. It’s quite visible. Written on the INSIDE of our mailbox it says NO FLYERS. Yet every SINGLE WEEKEND, our mailbox is flooded with meat sales and the latest iShit on sale. What the hell?! If someone doesn’t want flyers delivered to their home, please respect their wishes (and TWO SIGNS). GAH!

As those stickers made of recycled content? Can they be recycled? Porbably not, gotta love an ecology group handing out screen-printing vinyl decals.At least the flyers are made of recycled and recyclable content so how hard can it be for you to just drop them in the recycle bin? Perhaps the person delivering them has been ordered by his boss to ignore such signs as I’m sure they marketed to their customers the entire number of residences on the route. Find out what company delivers the flyers and call them but don’t shit on the carrier as its not their fault.
You can report that bs to the Municipality, there are new rules for the flyer people and after the past year of flagrant non-observance of the new rules…HRM is planning a big crack down…apparently. Not sure how long it will take them…but eventually they will fine them.
