I have so much to say about this bitch but I am going to try and limit my words. Last night a friend’s apartment in the North End got broken into. Not only did they take everything he owned that was worth something, but also stole 5 black (with white spots) Goldendoodle puppies while the poor mama helplessly watched and probably terrified. Two of the juveniles were caught by police but won’t talk. They say that they are unsure of who was in the apartment before they got there (everything stolen had already been taken to another location). My heart is breaking for these puppies, god only knows how they are being treated or if someone is going to just want to get rid of the “evidence” what may happen! The neighbour even has them on camera, showing faces! Fess up and show cooperation maybe they will lessen your sentence.. but then again you’re juveniles and are already known to police so you probably already feel comfy in the court systems. If anyone knows anything or seen anything, please contact police. —Heartbroken and Worried

It was an illegal puppy mill, and it wasn’t broken into. It was reported to animal control.

Keep an eye open for their pictures to pop up on kijiji, ebay.. wherever animals are sold frivolously. And if you find them, send the link directly to police.
Offer a reward for their safe return. Offer a bigger reward for the thieves’ dicks on a stick. I don’t care how old they are.
This is one of those times when it’s WORTH IT to break the law to bring this scum to justice. Post the video everywhere. Then up the reward.

While I am a dog lover, & I don’t like the thoughts on what an ordeal they & the owner & the female are going through.
I have to ask, because I have been noticing this trend the past couple of years …is a Goldendoodle puppy, just a fancy name for mutt ?
In the world I live in, purebred dog, meets this criteria.

& have owned several different breeds in my life. Those that weren’t a registered dog were of questionable parentage, even a mixture of more than 2 breeds & so they were mutt’s.
Every dog I owned , made an impression & I cannot say that any purebred I owned was any better than a mutt.
So is it just a new way of calling your mutt, by a fancy name ?
Is it that people find the idea of owning a mixbreed dog (aka mutt) somehow offensive, or that others may look down at them because they own a dog without the pedigree. So they’ve decided to give it a fancy name, & somehow that elevates its satus ?
Just questions, not being judgemental…although I do find it odd, especially when you think of it like that famous phrase, “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet “

More; a goldendoodle is a mix of a golden retriever and a poodle. A Labradoodle is a mix of a Labrador retriever and a poodle. They are hypoallergenic.
The PUPPIES are SAFE! They have been recovered and returned to their owner. The Young Offenders Act is a joke.
@Sebastian – this was NOT a puppy mill and the owner and breeder of the puppies is not a miller – I do think that you are not aware of what constitutes a PUPPY MILL. Rather the owner is a HOBBY BREEDER who has had these puppies fully vetted etc. I would garner you words would and could be deemed slander.

Hi Shoe_chick , I figured out what it means…doens’t change that the dog is a mixed breed or mutt as it were.
Just curious about where this trend of a possible mixed breed Lab (for example) bred to a poodle, of questionable parentage & then naming the puppies something fancy !
Its all getting out of hand IMO…l& its not just ‘designer named dogs’ its all kinds of everyday things ….like my lover went out & bought herself a Louis Vateur (I think that’s how you spell it) handbag aka purse. WHich I call the clown purse because of its gold braid handle, it’s white Emu (or maybe its ostrich) body with vibrant silk sides & some wild pink interior.

the smaller dogs are used more often. some large mixes turn out well, that’s why you see poodles, labs and boxers with other breeds. many ancient breeds have been brought back from the verge of extinction but most of them are classified as companion dogs as apposed to what they were originally bred for
