On Dec 2, 2010 someone broke into our south end home and rummaged through my underwear drawers to steal all my family heirlooms (relatively worthless to anyone but my family) and the strongbox with our birth certificates, marriage certificate, and the newborn baby bracelets and clothes our infants wore home from the hospital. I hope your crack fix was good – I’ll be thinking of you on my daughter’s wedding day when she is NOT wearing the glass beads my mother wore and I wore on our wedding days… I’m sure if you got $10 for them, it was worth it! marriage is a big bunch of bullshit nowadays, and just shacking up seems to be the norm. after 3 months now, you are legally man and wife, or whatevers.
as to the expense for an hour tops of wearing a gown, and flowers and all the attendant shit that goes with a wedding, people are fucking crazy, to go in the hole, before they even get hitched.
give me the old days again, when two goats and a couple of chickens would pay for the deed of marriage.but now, the pigs usually get the turkies and the foul hate starts to build, when groom fucks maid of honor in back room of church. i seen it happen folks. they weren’t even married 5 minutes, when dude goes to bathroom, maid goes too, and someone walks in on them fucking against the sinks. hill-fucking-larious. and a true story by the way. i started fucking the ex wife about 2 days later.
Too bad OP. Some people forget that we live in a society and take things that don’t belong to them. They are just material things despite the sentimental value. I suggest you try to wipe it out of your mind and move forward.

WHY NOT TRY A LITTLE SHARIA LAW?
There is a rather direct solution to many if not most cases of this sort of crime. The criminal is clearly indifferent to others in society. He just doesn’t care. He comes first. In the interests of satisfying his own “needs” he is quite prepared to degrade another’s emotional or physical environment and even, if it comes to that, take their lives. He just doesn’t care. A previous commenter said that the victim should be thankful the thief didn’t cut their throats. Isn’t this a rather supine response? Evil exists – the thief is evil, make no mistake – and should be met with appropriate measures.
Instead of passively acquiesing in the degradation of the victim’s environment let’s try degrading the thief’s environment instead. What’s wrong, for starters, with cutting off his hand or branding his forehead with a large “T”. Yes, I know, all the bien pensants will be shocked and wringing their hands but what I would like to hear is a reasoned argument against Sharia Law for cases like this. Note the word “reasoned.” Your shock doesn’t interest me.
