Holy cripes! If I get one more email from someone who saw my furniture on a certain free classified site asking if it’s ‘Still Available’ and then doesn’t reply after I say ‘Yes it is’ I’m gonna snap hotmail in half. If you ask if it’s still available does that not mean that you want it? Even reply with a couple more question if that’s what you want. I reply right away as the emails go to my phone. What’s your end game here? What was the point of asking if it’s still available? Is that how you spend your days? —Kijesus

Kijiji is famous for that. A million calls wanting ALL the details and they are coming for sure! Then you never hear back from them. Even if it is Free. Weird.
Could you snap hotmail in half anyway? I hate this format!!!!
And then if it’s free they usually want you to deliver it too! Can’t win!
People are weird. Particularly when it comes to buying each other’s stuff.
Some people feel the ad isn’t detailed enough. This may or may not describe your issue. So they’re calling for more information.
Some people are tracking a pool of things they’re interested in and when they find out what’s still available, they get back to the ones they triaged as the best options for them.
Still others are really weird and are totally into buying something until they speak to the seller and something about the seller rubs them the wrong way. Not saying this is your case. But you know.. it takes all kinds.
You can always just state that you DO NOT answer emails and provide a phone number. Talking is almost always more efficient than an email trail. And perfectly ok if no money is exchanging hands in the process.
Gross!!!! Kijiji, has been serving customers with bedbugs, free of charge, since 1999. Mmmmmmm….a sweet “new” couch that nasty people watched porn and fucked on. Blechhh!!!!!

Perhaps the person had their internet disconnected.Shoot OP misunderstandings happen all the time.
Hey NO Fool: I bet he’s one of the guys on the personals section of Kijij – hilarious!!!
Adding “if this ad is up the item is available, I will edit it to sold/gone pending pickup when an arrangement is made and delete the ad once the item is gone.” Would be a more efficient use of your time than this bitch, no offense.
What gets me is when I inquire about something and they reply “no I sold it last week” and STILL don’t take the ad down. When that happens I send them an email every day asking “do you still have this item?”.
Fucking cunts.
The most frustrating experience I’ve had on there was when I was trying to sell a sub pump, and everybody interrogated me concluding that I must have “stolen” it since I was selling it from my apartment (it came from my house that I rent out). One idiot said he was calling the cops. I said go ahead. He probably did and the cops just didn’t come. Women are easier to deal with when selling, they have better instincts over the phone usually (not to be sexist).
Damn tire kickers
yeah, I’ve been told that adding “if add is still posted, item is still available” is a must. btw, anyone want a 4th generation iPod touch? I also have this sweet iPod dock:
