Coming to Halifax was my first time taking public transportation like buses. I didn’t realize how diverse the buses are, there are people of all ages. Since there are people of all ages there is priority seating for elderly people. So dear loud and obnoxious high school student who didn’t stand up for the elderly woman with groceries. STAND UP! —Anonymous

  1. o.p., we have this bitch, at least once a week. you have to start reading the coast online more. but welcome to town, hope your stay isn’t too fucked up. and keep your eyes open all the time. this city is going to hell too quickly. we will be like some others in no time at all.
there are some nice people and places here, and hope you will find them before the shit. but keep in there, it can only get better later on.

  2. Every five minutes or so on the Tokyo subway there’s an automated announcement explaining the rules of the priority seats…so it’s hard for the self-absorbed to claim ignorance there.

  3. what a good idea, i’d love to do the voices. i would get their attention right some quick^^

  4. I can understand why drivers don’t boot people out of those seats…. but it would be SO awesome if they just yelled at those motherfuckers to gtfo of the priority seats.

A driver in Ottawa made a women with a stroller get off the bus because she was blocking the disabled seating space. She kicked up a fuss and contacted the media and was all “WAHWAH THE DRIVER KICKED OFF AN INFANT!”…. yeah, because a disabled person has PRIORITY over a stroller.

  5. So is there a reason you couldn’t tell the little puke to get his punk ass out of the seat and let the old gal sit?
