Numerous times I have attempted to use a soccer field to play soccer. However, when I show up, I find it occupied by someone and their off-leash dog (dog is usually running around pooping on the field). I have attempted to use the field anyway only to have dogs bark at me and try to bite my $35 ball. The owner usually says, “He won’t bite you.” I go there to relax, listen to music and practice my soccer skills not to be on the lookout for charging dogs and piles of poop. There are plenty of sidewalks and parks in this city to walk your dogs. —Keep Dogs Off the Sports Fields

Dogs aren’t allowed on any sports field on the Common yet all day every day you see people with dogs off-leash. I wish the city would start enforcing this with fines!

Me too – there are ALWAYS off leash dogs on the common. we walked through there on Saturday and kind of had a laugh about the SIX dogs running around off leash within easy sight of all the signs forbidding it.

I have a dog, but do agree with this bitch. Although, it depends. There are signs on every municipal sports field saying whether it allows off leash dogs or not and when. If the person is violating that sign, then you have every right to be pissed off. HOWEVER, if the sign says they’re allowed to have their dog off leash, then I’m sorry, but just becuase you want to be alone doesn’t mean you have the right to be.

I always have to give SOBova at least one, very silly, utterly pointless Xmas gift and one year she got the crazy cat lady (despite us only ever owning 1 at a time). I had to open the pack and repaint the pjs and bathrobe, and the hair – black with silver streaks. I added a glass of red wine and a ciggie (yeah, she smoked then) Her family noted the resemblance, especially the brows and crazy eyes. She eventually resumed speaking to me….
