I work as a Sales Reresentative for a cell phone company. i make barely over mimimum wage plus commission. I HATE when customers come in for the stupidest reasons. HELLO? Have you heard of the internet or the phone? Most times you can handle this issue yourself? But, no I am stuck talking to you. Nad, you are spilling your life story… Do you think i care? You are wasting my time. My precious time. I could be making a sale. I could be putting food on my table. Why are you so lazy, pick up the god damn phone instead of wasting both your and my time! Time is fucking money!

  1. Your precious time? You are a CSR. Its your job to talk to people and answer their questions. Reps like you are the reason people are often so rude to telemarketers. You need a refresher course in Customer Service.

  3. Honestly what do expect you work for a cell phone company. Cell Phone companys suck in general

OP, ever call customer service from your cell and you get this automated voice that tells you to speak your postal code into the receiver and then keeps asking questions like “did you say B?” and then you have to yell “yes” or “no” and you get “did you say yes?” and then you have to respond with something like “no, I said fuck off” and so on and so on. If time is money then I would say these cell phone companies are wasting my “precious time and money”. So to those who chose to ‘walk-in’ to deal with qustions or problems, I suggest you put a smile on and help them! It’s your fucking job, and if you lose them as customers, like you’ve lost me (been less stressed for 2 years now without a cell), well then you won’t be able to make that ever important commission when they have to renew or upgrade.

  5. LOL Lori. I got frustrated by one of those menu systems once – I can’t remember which company – and I yelled FUCK OFF! and it responded by saying “you are being connected to an operator now”! I’m not kidding. I don’t know if it was a coincidence or if they coded that in as a voice command. I like to think the latter LOL

  6. No, it wasn’t a coincidence, it works everytime! Except the time that it responded to me by saying “goodbye” and hung up on me….that may have been my breaking point….not sure but these assholes are still trying to charge me for breaking my contract….

  7. Yeah I think the “goodbye” would have ended with my phone going through a nearby wall. Which would only hurt me, not the cell company, but we don’t always think of those things at the time…

  10. I believe it’s time that all CSR’s need to go,given the attitudes to those who work as one,like Nicole! I believe that in these kind of company’s (I use to work in one) that there’s suppose to be a manager who’s suppose to monitor these calls,just in case representatives are being rude or not rebuting!
