Seriously people, what the fuck is wrong with you? If the posted speed limit is 70km/h then go 70km/h. NOT FUCKING 40KM/H!! I get that in shitty weather people are gonna drive slower, but this morning the road was fine. Or hey, here’s an idea get the fuck out of the passing lane… there’s a new fucking idea…

  1. You need to listen to the radio – apparantly there was black ice out….you need to CTFD(Calm the Fuck down) – would you honestly rather wait for others to drive carefully or wait even LONGER because someone got hit/hurt/killed?

  2. “…passing lane…” I hear ya there! Slower moving traffic is to keep to the right (lane), it’s clearly stated in the NS Driver’s Handbook (MAGAZINE HILL JERKS!!!). However, the posted speed is a maximum, you can drive what ever speed you want below the set limit.

  3. Actually you are incorrect James…it is illegal to travel 30KMh below the posted speed limit. Going below 70Kmh on the Highway (where the posted limit is 100) is illegal.

  4. It’s not illegal, but you do need to have your 4-way (or hazzard) lights on. You can typically see signs stating this on any 100 series highway (at least in NS anyway) or in the NS Driver’s Handbook.

  5. This goes out to all of you impatient speed freaks (not necessarily the people who have commented on this topic so far). When I am driving on the Circ and I am in the 2nd lane doing the posted speed limit (80), the next time one of you assholes drive right up on my ass, youre getting slammed brakes and you fucks can then explain to the police and your insurance companies why you rammed another car from behind. I am not moving out of your way so you can do a 100+. I am in the lane I am in because of where I inevitably want to exit. Ever been to Montreal or Toronto? You barely have any opportunity to change lanes so you better make sure you’re in the right one to begin with. Now, I must address this “passing lane” business. Although some highways are obviously designated areas with passing lanes (i.e. Magazine Hill, highway out to Truro), others like Main St and the Circ are not. So if Im in the left lane doing the speed limit its because thats where I need to be to exit appropriately so fuck off. Or, as stated above, next time you decide to tailgate you’ll be getting a lot closer to my tail lights then you want to.

  6. “It’s not illegal, but you do need to have your 4-way (or hazzard) lights on.”Soo driving on the highway BELOW 70Kmh in a 100 IS illegal…and if you have to or cannot exceed 70Kmh you need to be far right with 4-way flashers on…even then you will still be pulled over and your cars MVI will be checked…so yes it is illegal.

  7. Christopher, Dude…There are signs posted on every 100 series highway stating “below 70km/h use 4 way flashers”, plain and simple it is NOT illegal! Read your NS Driver’s Handbook. You contradict yourself in your above statement, if you are abiding the set regulations (…-70km/h…far right…4 way flashers…) and you get pulled over and your liscence, registration & MVI are all in order; what law have you broken, what is the illegality? Keeping that in mind; what about all of the semi’s and transfer trucks with full loads that crawl up most hills at 70km/h or below??? Why, you see them in the far right lane with thier 4 way flashers on (but you already stated that) because that is what they are legally required to do.

  8. … and does Christopher have a licence? or still trying out for his written test cause he gets getting that question wrong? … under 70 km/h .. far right .. 4 way flashers on is NOT illegal!

  9. No law broken James…as long as you were yielding to faster traffic…if you weren’t..then tickey for you, which is what I was implying…not clearly enough for some though.Funny assumption Lisha…but again dead wrong. Come back to the adult table when you have more to say other than a dig at someone and repeatingparroting someone else’s comments.
