I was walking my dogs in Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon. You were getting pictures done after having just gotten married and you wandered over to pat the dogs. I said “Not right now” – one dog was pulling at a scent and the other was pulling away from the crowd of strangers we didn’t expect to meet. It wasn’t great timing, but there was no need to be as abrupt as I was (to anyone, let alone a friendly bride on her wedding day). Many apologies for being rude and many congratulations to you both. —Clearly not the best man
