I just want to say sorry to the driver who pointed out that I was breaking all the biking laws on my way to work this morning. I ran a red light, was on the wrong side of the road and cut through a herd of crossing pedestrians. You were just trying to be nice when you pulled up alongside me to mention what you were seeing (from a driver’s perspective) and I was really rude. I would like cars to respect me as a biker, but it’s hard to do when as a biker I’m not respecting the rules. Thank you for stopping as I honestly didn’t think it bothered drivers as much as it does. No more running red lights. Sorry. Hope to see you in morning traffic. —Morning Commuter

This almost seems like it could be fake, but I’m not entirely sure.

My wheelchair and I want you to be safe.
Thanks for listening to the driver. It only takes a fraction of a second, with no do overs!
