In young age, it is hard to feel if its love or not.. but how amazing is this that before marriage sex/love making is so ok now a days.. so people can not just date but also try physical bonding and if it doesn’t feel right, can move on.. wow.. There is no value of virginity now.. who saves it for the love of the life is a fool i guess.. or m sure i m very old fashioned. i really worry for the coming generation..
I know love is never like how it is in movies, also has, no real life love… actually no real love in this generation.. I have many couple friends who made it work and got married, without changing their mind and looking for different partner..
love is real and only once it happens… no confusion, no break up, and one has to be humble and patient for real love…
when a child is born, the family and the kid develops loving each other .. its about the affection… so why one couple cant work out on loving one another? love doesn’t have a condition.. children never reject/change the parents to find a better family… changing partners with just an excuse of doubt of love is not real.. that person can never love one who keeps changing due to unsure love… then it is not love at all. —mighty aphrodite

The Captain believes the seperation of sex and love to be beneficial. To confuse virginity or sexual encounters with love is to confuse what love is.Thats not meaning one cannot love sex, just that loving sex with someone does not automatically equate to loving that someone. The same for virginity; one can value purity, but does not necessarily have to value the person embodying that concept.
One can love a rainbow without putting it in their mouth. Love is spotanous, and it can also develop slowly over time. Love can happen once, or it can manifest everyday in unique experiences.
Of course, people can ‘make it work’ – but is that just the manifestation of cooperation, patience, and tolerance? Or, is it ‘real’ love?
Future generations should understand that love is not dependant upon remarkable sex, purity, or the ability to stubbornly endure a relationship with someone, but rather the other way around. Love comes before; it creates avenues within ourselves through which we can have enjoyable experiences. Love creates lasting bonds between people, it allows us to enjoy the physical world, and it motivates us be committed to high moral ideals.
Yet, if Love were not so elusive it would just be another piece of cheap existential junk that our cold human intellect would subject to labeling and compartmentalization.
Love is Beyond Mind, or its just varying degrees of self-delusion. You’ll stay in-love with someone who keeps you guessing and keeps the motor purring.
Adios.
I agree the The Fox. Love has a lot to do with accessibility, wanting what’s hard to get. Hence it’s elusiveness. Sometimes it’s easy and the opposite number has the same feelings but usually not. The feelings intensify the more work is involved in getting the attention of that special person.
Subsequently maintaining the relationship is work as well because one doesn’t have the help of those hormones that gave you the intense initial feelings.
on the plus side of long term, if you chose for it in the first place, for compatibility, similar background/age/socio economic, etc is the shared history.
maybe it only comes into value when you get older (like me) those moments when you laugh at the same spot in a movie because you have been there, you recognize the same old song clips, you had the same ‘where were you’ when kennedy was shot, the moon landing, lennon and king shot, bobby. when the wall came down. rotary dial phones.
so many times you can look at your partner and say ‘man it’s nice to not have to ‘splain all the time’
I feel adrenalin is highly over rated
Love graces us like lightning, out of nowhere and beyond our control. We become but helpless pawns along for a ride until the roller-coaster screeches to a halt. Where such a magic is found and where it goes when it wanders is anyone’s guess.
Love keeps us in wonder, promising pleasures and splendor untold, twinkling like Christmas snow…
my Christmas snow usually sparkles like sunshine. yellow. I have dogs, you see.
That comment kinda reminded me of one of those cheap Korean-Store fireworks that don’t work…. they just kinda fizzle and die out and you stand there with your hands in your pockets, look at your buddy and say “Well, so much for that idea!”….
