Every morning I see the drivers who must have gotten their licence from a cereal box jump from the left lane just as they get off the old bridge across the white line just before the crosswalk on North Street most of the time cutting drivers off on the right lane and sometimes when people are crossing the crosswalk. i would suggest something o.p., but i know that you wouldn’t take my advice. so just do your own thing, okay, and let others do theirs. you won’t lose any sleep because of your choice, trust me.
The Windsor Street Exchange area is another fuck up with morons who do this, notably inbound Bedford highway just past the newly built bridge. People don’t realize that cars coming onto the Bedford Hwy from Joe Howe have the right of way, but in the morning I always see idiots cutting off cars on a solid white line. Me me me attitude of drivers around here.
Those lines mean nothing in HRM. Like everyone else in the city, ignore them and just drive.

The spot I meant was where you are driving along Joe Howe and you go up a ramp to hop onto the Bedford Highway and go towards Kempt/Windsor. A bit hard to describe I guess.
You know, traffic was never better during the construction on the Fairview overpass. Because you didn’t have so many fucking lane jumpers and people coming at you in all directions. Now it’s just a clusterfuck of assfuckery.

i know where you mean al. when i’m leaving windsor to head onto the bedford hwy, sometimes i forget and get in the left turn lane that just magically ends…that is what zedman means
Shitty drivers do shitty driving, so drive defensively and you’ll arrive intact despite the passholes on the road.
People keep saying you can get your licence from cereal boxes, i wish i knew about this before i shelled out for that test.
Perhaps the OP should go back to driving school. Where in the rules does it say you are not allowed to cross a single solid line. Particularly a white one. White lines are for guiding traffic and can be crossed. A single solid yellow line also allows passing when safe to do so.
Not to say that aggressive drivers are not a hazard and a pain in the ass, but get your facts straight before you condemn someone for doing something they are legally allowed to do.
