  1. I know that now but thanks….I went on a mad flyer hunt last night after I bought my not so satisfying $3 bottle, naively thinking that maybe it went up everywhere……..should’ve known it was only Sobeys….the same people that give their employees gift cards to their own store for a Christmas bonus …but thats a whole nother bitch

  2. All the various stores will try to trick you into thinking it’s a ‘deal’. Look at the major grocery stores, and how they price bags of chips at 3 bags for $6.00. You don’t have to be a mathematician to figure out that’s $2.00 a bag, which is NO deal at all. Look at the flyers weekly. There ARE sales on every item, but you have to watch for them. I believe PC pop is selling for $.79 a bottle this week. If the price is above $1.00 for a bottle,I’ll pass for that week and stick to coffee, and my water purifier at home, with some no-calorie drink mix. Then when the price is low, I’ll stock up on those particular items I enjoy.

  3. Usually the items on the front page of the flyer are close to, or even under cost. The rest of the flyer usually just contains minor markdowns.
