To the people that got ticketed for this: I would like to just let you know that while those people were out ticketing your car, the city decided not to pay anyone to clean THEIR sidewalks as well. Instead of paying 10 people to go out and clean HRM sidewalks (namely the one surrounding grand parade) they employ 30 people to go out an ticket those people who have not cleaned theirs. This is disgraceful. 10 hours after the last storm, all sidewalks, even the one in front of the church, which was cleaned by 80 year old people, were clean, but I had to slip and slide my way past city hall because the lazy fucks were inside figuring out how many more people they should hire to get out and ticket the ones who hadn’t had the chance to clean theirs. Thanks a lot!!!!Oh, PS: dumping a pile of salt at the beginning of a sidewalk and hoping the people walking will kick it all over the place for it to work, is NOT cleaning your sidewalk.
