Ok I know this might be a repeat of another post. But what the fuck is up with people snapping pictures of people that don’t look normal to them with their camera phones? I think it is a huge invasion of privacy and doesn’t do good for the person’s self esteem. I think they are fucking little dorks. I stood up for one person one day when i saw someone do this. Fuck.

put down your camera phone jackass

  1. That person would be taking up-close and personal shots of their LARGE INTESTINE, if I ever encountered someone taking my picture without my express permission.

  2. Now would that camera be traveling up or down to their large intestine? 🙂 Or maybe half in one end, half in the other?

  3. whichever, whatever, makes no difference to me, all I know is they better have a good flash! HAHAHA!

  4. So people are supposed to be a recluse/stay at home? If they don’t wish to engage in this behavior?

  5. Whatever happened to “treat people the way you want to be treated?”Privacy aside… (or lack there of) .. Just like the little bitch on the #1 bus ride, they need a taste of their own medicine.. I just wish people could walk a mile in someone elses shoes… There was an experiment that a teacher (Jane Elliott?) did with her students a long time ago, I think in like the 60’s or 70’s, separating blue eyed kids from brown eyed kids.. And telling one group that BECAUSE they have blue eyes, they are better then the brown eyed kids, and they started to ACT like they we’re better, being mean to kids that (the day before) we’re their friends… Then the roles reversed the next day, and it was the brown eyed kids who we’re superior, but they KNEW how it felt, and they we’re not as mean to the kids who just a day earlier, treated them so bad….WOW… sorry for the book.. to sum it up, LOL, I think this exercise should STILL be done to EVERY grade 2 or 3 class…. It will stick with them, and hopefully they develop some compassion, before turning out like these people (#1 bitch, and Picture Taker)fuckin people these days.. (ha! I’m only 25, yet, I sound alot like my mom, lmao)

  6. ha ha, don’t feel bad, CaT LaDY. I’m only 37, and my mother pops out of my mouth every day! She’s a quality woman, to say the very least, but I digress. Back to the point, out in public or not, you’re not taking my damn picture without my consent, period. You don’t know what my circumstances are, and that behaviour is just plain rude. Like I said, they better have a good flash to get those quality pictures of one’s colon.

  7. Catlady i totally agree with you! Follow the golden rule do unto otherse as you would have them do unto you.

  8. i used to get this a lot, i have an “abnormal haircut” some guy on barrington’s term, not mine. i’d get people asking if they could take pictures of me (which i was fine with) but the assholes who would run up and snap a picture of me and take off. it got out of hand, and one guy ended up loosing his camera over it, but on the plus side i now have a kickass canon rebel xti.

  9. My comment was more of a legal argument than one of manners. There is no expectation of privacy if you’re in public view, except in Quebec (privacy is written into their Human Rights Act – and even then, that won’t stop anyone from taking a picture – it only limits what can be done with it). You might want to have a look at this link – it’s used as a reference by a lot of photographers: http://ambientlight.ca/laws.shtmlBTW, most people will ask if it’s OK to take a pic but if they don’t – maybe you could ask ’em to delete it. Nicely. Manners go both ways.

  10. I don’t think it is about privacy as much as it is about exploitation and abuse. If someone takes a picture of you because you look different and e-mails it to all their friends or plasters it all over thier blog or you-tube without your permission, I think that borders on exploitation, especially if the subject is someone who is mentally or physically diasabled. If it is not illegal now, it should be.

  11. Mike hunt 1- the rest 0when in public, you are in no position to complain about your picture being taken. There is a good chance that if you went out to the mall for an hour, you appeared on 10 cameras. If you want to complain to the mall, that your privacy was being taken from you, then you will be shown footage of thousands of others that are suffering the same plight as you.You have ZERO right to privacy. People use the word “privacy” here sooooooooooo incorrectly. If my eyes could see it, and i didnt have to do anything other than open my eyelids, it wasnt private. Taking a picture, no different than photographic memory. How many times have you had your pic taken, with people in the background? did you get ALL there permissions? Think people,
