Is it just me that thinks this city is full of smokers? I am so beyond disgusted, and it isn’t even students – it’s adults! Everywhere I look every second of the day there are adults either smoking infront of hospitals, infront of their children, in groups – it is so gross. Are you really not aware of all the health risks directly involved with smoking? Do you like aging quicker? Do you like inhaling 4000 toxic chemicals into your body with each cigarette? Not to mention the price of cigarettes here are far more than any city I’ve ever seen. Grow up, open your stupid eyes. As for effects of smoking – smokers know this shit but I’ve seen people who quit and died 15 years later with lung cancer – the damage is done – life is a crapshoot – you may die a painful, premature death, you may not. I had four aunts and uncles who chain smoked and lived to their late 70s. When I think of growing up in an era where everyone smoked, today’s knee-jerk overreaction makes me want to throw random fire hydrants at people like you.
