Every day I read the paper and I`m a little saddened by the terrible things that happen in the world around us. This morning I cried my eyes out at the most touching story I read in a long time…
A little boy from Kingston Ontario held a yard sale this weekend selling off all his toys to raise money to buy his father a headstone. He passed away a year ago and the 9 year old boy put toys on the grave site to mark it… but wanted to get him a proper headstone.
I just had to share this… Because I love the way this child loves… kids can be pretty amazing! —Real Chick

That brought tears to my eyes. So many things now are depressing, it’s nice to hear something like that. I started reading online little stories like that on givesmehope.com and kidsgivemehope.com just to cheer myself up!
i meant some amazing children amongst the beasties this past weekend. there is hope with these humans
The community held a big yardsale this past weekend to help pay for the headstone. I thought this was a pretty cool story as well.
