I think its time that Metro Transit goes scent free! This morning I got on the bus and almost gagged to death on the smell of scented products coming off of someone. Which was a surprise to me, as most workplaces have a scent free policy. Another time myself and my roomie were coming home from a movie and some idiot in the back of the bus sprayed themselves down with ‘whore bait’ nearly blinding me. I know that it would be difficult to enforce, and alot of little old lady types would be forced to walk to bingo, but hey folks, first just have a little common sense and go easy on the scented products or wait to spray yourself down when your in the middle of Point Pleseant Park ok?

Too much smelly stuff in the a.m

  2. This is funny, NS is the only province that i noticed so many people allergic to EVERYTHING.One time i was working at a call center and i sat next to this girl, very childish one, that always complained about my perfume. I don’t put much, a dab here and there and that’s it. You can actually barely pick it up. One day i just forgot to wear any, i was in a rush and left home right after i took a bath. Half an hour later, i get to work and sit in my usual spot. She sits 3 cubicles away from me. Next thing i hear is.. ooohhh.. your perfume is so strong. My reply was, ya go fuck yourself bitch I used none today so you’re obviously craving attention and will create it in any means possible. So from that point on, I believe a lot of people make up their allergies to get attention and nothing more!

  3. I believe there is a scent policy for Metro Transit. But no matter where you go, there are certain individuals that have to bathe in the shit that they think make them irresistable. I’m not allergic to perfumes or cologne, but OMF, there’s got to be a limit to how much is enough.Warning…Keep away from heat sources, flame or pregnant women. And in such an enclosed space like a bus…give me a break. Take a shower.

  4. Scent-free on a Metro Transit bus? That means all you would smell would be the stench of the great unwashed who ride the thing — sweat, piss, stale smoke, whatever. Hardly a step forward.
