Why the fuck did my landlord who is running for the conservative party in my district just slap a campaign sign on the front yard of a house we are renting without even asking. He also did it to every property he owns. I see typical student dwellings, slightly run down, with conservative signs on them. Do you know how that makes us look? Now I have to pull a hood over my head as I enter and exit my home out of pure shame.

He OWNS the property right? Then he can put the damned signed there if he wants.. He doesn’t have to concern himself with how that makes you look – how you look isn’t his business.
I dunno, If you are renting the whole house, you are probably renting the property too. That means even if the landlord went and put up the signs without your permission you can still stick something up (hallowe’en decorations?) in front of it to hide/block the sign can’t you? You could probably also remove it and blame it on vandals.

I’d put a liberal sign in front of it, or if its this run down, a sign beside it stating “owns this dank pit, vote for him!”
