Is it just me or has Spring Garden Road become skid row? I used to love walking down the street to check out the shops and people. Now it is covered with beggars and on every corner there is someone trying to sign you up for a charitable cause. Even sitting on a bar patio a guy stuck his cup over the rail in our faces to ask for change! Really, dude? It is too depressing and annoying now. Just stay on the bus and skip Spring Garden Road! —Tired of The Money Grubbers

halifax is growing. This kind of thing is natural in larger cities and halifax is starting to become one.
